Cattery

OUR CATTERY :

We have spaces available for short and long stays. We feed Royal Canin biscuits to all guest's , however If your furry friend has dietary restrictions or  specific  needs  or  wants , please bring this food along with you.

We do not supply wet food , if you would like your cat to have wet food during the stay you will need to supplie this yourself.

As an extension of our veterinary clinic, you can trust our boarding cattery to look after pets with special needs, including geriatric and diabetic cats that require special treatments. Simply provide us with veterinary referral notes if we haven’t been treating them ourselves.

THE CATTERY IS IN WHENUAPAI , OUR VET CLINIC IS IN MOUNT EDEN.

REQUIREMENTS : 

Please ensure that all of your cat’s vaccinations are up to date and bring proof of vaccinations along with you for their stay as well as having a current flea & worm treatment. 

Vaccinations must be done 2 weeks prior to the stay.

Please provide the name of your current vet clinic so we are able to access history if required.

Stays over 3 weeks require a deposit and credit card number on file.

We cannot accept new clients for Christmas & New Years  - ( Demember 1st - 20th Janurary ) 

We do apologise but our cattery is fully booked every year with our clinic clients.

CATTERY HOURS :

Monday - Friday: 8:00am-9:00am or 7:00pm-8:00pm

Saturday: 8:00am - 9:00am or 4:00pm-5:00pm

Sunday & Public Holidays 10:00am-11:00am / 6:00pm-7:00pm

If you would like to drop off at the clinic please do so between the following hours: Drop-off 8am - 6pm Mon-Thursday, and collection 10am-6pm.

Veterinary consultations can be done at Whenuapai ( Non Urgent Consults ) 

Please book an appointment by Phone 096388445 or  0275444427. Consults at Catmandu will generally be arranged during cattery open hours. If you need urgent care please book an appointment at the clinic.

PRICES:

Extra fees per day do apply on statutory holidays, peak periods (e.g. Christmas/New Years)  (The minimum stay charge is 2 days & for Christmas and New Years is 5 days)

• 1 cat = $20/day
• 2 cats = $30/day
• 3 cats = $40/day
• Cats on medication/Special Care = $5-10 extra charge per day.

To ensure your cat’s comfort: We provide cage runs that are larger than most other catteries; measuring 2 x 5 x 2 metres , All cats get their own run , there are no communal runs , all cats go into a single run unless from the same family , then they are automatically housed in the same run unless requested for them to be separate.

We provide x2 litter trays , x2 pet beds with blankets & a hide away box with a blanket and one big water bowl and two smaller feeding bowls so you dont have to bring these .

No need to bring anthing but your fur baby.

LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS:

Catmandu Cattery is conveniently located in Whenuapai ( Not the same location as the Vet Clinic ) and getting here is easy. 

The Address is 60 Puriri road , Whenuapai. 

Use maps or  search Catmandu Boarding Cattery Whenuapai.

1. Travel towards the very end of the North-Western Motorway HW16 (Westgate end).
2. Stay in the 2 left lanes when approaching Westgate.
3. Travel under the Hobsonville Rd Bridge on Hw18 towards North Shore and curve around the corner taking the first exit 1km later to arrive on Brigham Creek Rd.
4. Turn left at the exit then immediately right after roundabout 100m onto Kauri Rd (signposted to Herald Island).
5. Drive to the very last crossroad (2kms) and turn left onto Puriri Rd, 150 m to No. 60 on the right at the base of a dip in the road. We are signposted at the gate.
6. Drive at about 10km/hr up the road and watch out for cats, especially ‘Coco’ a small black cat. He usually gets out of the way of cars.

We can transport cats from our clinic to the cattery Monday - Thursday.
